I designed bgr ckt
and I've heard that bgr needs a start-up ckt
Is it right?
If it is right, I have to design a start-up ckt
But I don't know how to design that
please somebody help me
where can i find the start-up ckt well suited for this bgr ckt?

thanks

I think u need 3 startup. but it so complecated

Hi,paraon00:
here is start up action:
if Ids(M21)=0, force Gate(M21)=0v;
if Ids(M24)=0, force Gate(M24)=0v;

Hi,qutang:

could you tell more detail, where need the 3rd starup?

Re: Where can i find the start-up ckt well suited for this b

Oh~ Thank you so much!

Do you know where that ckt is?

anyway I'll try to design the start-up rigth now~ ^^

one more time, thanks~

Hey, when you start-up you need to inject some current into both the loops. But what is more important is also to inject some current into the diode connected transistor M16. This is the third point where the start-up action has to occur

Hi, Vamsi Mocherla,

I'm not clear, if M21,M24 was startup, as current mirror, M28,M29 will inject current into M16, why need this third start-up point?

Thanks a lot!

Hmm..
I agree with butterfish
perhaps M16 needs not start-up ckt
If M21,M20 are on, then M28 is also, and if M24,M26 is on, then M29 also.
and then current is copied and then M16 goes to ON state.

and I have another question.
In SPICE simulation, All transitors are ON, always.
how can I see that M21,M20,M24,M26 can be OFF?

regards

maybe you can start your simulation with constant VDD,
use .ic v(gateM21)=VDD

I'm so appreciating with your help
