Whats the salary for fresher in Microelectronics in Korea?

recently there have been offers from Samsung Electronics, Korea.
Can you tell me what should be the amount of salaries for fresher M.S in Microelectronics.

You should expect something around 20-25 million Wons / annum. Also, you should expect them to provide you with an apartment, in addition.

Really? That coverts to only USD 20-25K. I'm guessing that
there are a lot more unemployed engineers than there are
job openings?

It does not matter much in Samsumng electronics,
but if you want to stay in korea for long career development,
it does matter to some degree.

Especially in samsung, for the recent years, the net payment tend to be doubled due to profit sharing program.
If the offer includes PS, you can expect minimum 1.5 times after some period(6mons or so)

The best way to negotiate is to leave it to comapany & ask as per their scale & par with other designers.
