Hi Guys,

I am newbie in RF field, I just wanna to know how much fast the data rate ASK and FSK and PSK modulation can go? another question is why there are no RF module in the industry using PSK modulation in their chipset at 315MHz and 433 Mhz?? Thanks!!

half the RF

All of these modulation formats can in theory go very fast. I guess that the limit is when the modulating sidebands extend downward past zero frequency. ASK is the cheapes to demodulate and modulate. FSK is the next cheapes. PSK is expensive to demodulate relatively speaking and only has a 3 dB advantage over FSK. This is why ASK and FSK are the methods used in low cost data systems.

if u don't mind about the data rate, ask ook is simple to build
