In short Common centroid means if you see from the centre of matching geometry all devices should have same environment from all axis, which is commonly use to reduce the effect of linear process gradient or stress induced mismatch

Al are common centroid: below are considerations:

case 1: best matching bcause : same surroudning and despersion is more so reducing random error.ofcaource ,drain parasitics will be more than 2 but will be matched.

case2 : good.. dispersion is less so less prefered than 1... less drain area.


case3: least prefered.
