Does 4-FSK has four frequencies

Standard FSK means binary . one freq for 0 and one for 1.
but how M-Ary FSK have waveform
plz explain abt 4-FSK
thanks

in 4-FSK. you will send datas by 2 bits. 00,01,10 and 11.
therefore that combinations will switch f1,f2,f3,f4 frequencies. You have to choose that frequencies before use.
example:
f1 = 10KHz --> sends when current data is 00.
f2 = 20KHz --> sends when current data is 01.
f3 = 30KHz --> sends when current data is 10.
f4 = 40KHz --> sends when current data is 11.

ok thanks a lot
it means if i make waveform of data, i will see 4 frequencies

Yes. Your modulated data will be a set of four different frequencies.

the performance of the 4fsk compare with fsk is
1) butter than
2) less than
3) the same as

can u tell me the correct answer from choices above
