what is valley current?

Does any one know what is valley current or Valley current mode?

Hi,

In what context did the term"valley current" appear to you? Generally it used to describe the minimal value of na alternating current, for example it can be used to describe the output ripple of a switching-mode power supply.

Thanks and you assumption was right its for a SMPS

this term is used in UJT relaxation oscillator characteristics
