As known to me, there are only three big EDA tools' providers: Synopsys, Cadence and Mento Graphics. I am very interested whether there will be more job opportunities offerred by other companies?

I am a Ph.D. student in EDA algorithms especially in timing analysis field in China. Should I work for one of those three big companies after graduation without any other choices?

Since there is hardly any small EDA companies here. I am very interested in how small EDA companies survive in U.S.A (e.g., in Silicon Valley) and what kind of person they needed. Will someone talk about it for me ? Thanks a lot!

I'm interested in working for an EDA company too. Like you I'm involved in EDA for the past 8 years after getting my M.S.

Guys, appreciate if you could help us out in securing a job. Thanks!
