TQFP stands for thin quad flat pack and it is a SMD kind of component.
When you see it in suitable datasheet everything will be clear to you. Not reccomended for newbies or when prototyping in analog/digital design because when you are developing some embedded system it may happen that you burn your MCU. Replacing such an component (32,64,82 pin) is a difficult task.
