I have a cadence CD files which have this detail:
ISR 2004202060002

I try to install this into SUSE 10 but when installing it asked me about

lnx86 P/N 356-70352-303 CD-ROM

Does this mean my cadence is not for linux or not?

How can I solve this prolem?

Could anyone tell me where I can get ic5141?

Any cadence software have a base, update, and hotfix releases.

The update is called USR and the hotfix is called ISR. Actually u can't install neither the update nor the hotfix unless u have the base release CDs.

For the name "ISR 2004202060002", it means that this is a hotfix which was released on 20/02/2006.

So if I only have the ic5141 ISR cds, I can not set up ic5141 on my linux, right?

If yes, could you tell me where I can get the base cds?

thanks

I think that u will need the base CDs.

U can get them from sourcelink.cadence.com, iff u have an account there.
Else try to search the sharing programms

Thanks eng_semi,
where is the sharing program that I can get the base CDs?
