There are a lot of Hyper-V backup tools in 2022, but not all of them are effective or provide all the needed functionality. Here are some of the tools and the best use cases for them:
1) Hyper-V VSS Writer. It is a great method but it is designed for small scale backup operations.
2) Hyper-V WMI Based Backup. This approach is more scalable than using VSS on the host.
3) Hyper-V backup software for enterprises: There are a lot of solutions, but I can recommend check this.
