Im looking at the Datasheet fo the LM11 Comparator and it dicusses "strobing".

What is this?
 

Do you mean LM111? The strobe function is really an output disable. I am not sure what use it is! You could connect several comparator outputs together to a single micro input with one pullup resistor and use the strobe to select them in turn so you could use on micro pin to monitor several comparators.
