CTS = clock tree synthesis.

CTS is Clock Tree Synthesis. H-Tree is one of the most popular type of clock distribution. In high performance circuit clock mesh is used.
Constraints for clock tree are clock skew and insertion delay. These constraints are meet by using PNR tools. PNR tools automatically synthesize clock tree.

what are the diffrence between via & contact

Via is used to connect two metal layer say for connecting metal 1 and metal 2. Contact is connection to source, drain , gate etc.
