What are the differences between GSM and EGSM?

Can anyone tell me the differences between EGSM and GSM.

Yes differences there is but not all their know. I see and report;inform;tell;say you later.

I think that they have diffrent bandwidth.

EGSM
UL: 880-915
DL: 925 -960

GSM
UL: 890-915
DL: 935-960

Hi,
I agree with vitan2.EGSM is an extension to GSM.it has an additional 10mhz bandwidth to accommodate 50 more channels than GSM.

GSM is a 2G network service. GSM has few bands, i.e. PGSM900, EGSM900, 850, DCS1800 and PCS1900. These are the common few bands. EGSM is extended band from PGSM. The frequency range of PGSM and EGSM are as below.

PGSM (Primary GSM):
Uplink frequency: 890.2MHz to 914.8MHz
Downlink frequency: 935.2MHz to 959.8MHz

EGSM (Extended GSM):
Uplink frequency: 880.2MHz to 914.8MHz
Downlink frequency: 925.2MHz to 959.8MHz
