Hi,
I am using LDR and the minimum analogue voltage at input is not zero.If analouge input is in the range (1.8-4.8volt) then what will be the value of step size and Vref?

Hi,

Step size in ADC depends on the your Vref.
Set Vref as 5V then from the formula Code=(Vin/Vref)*(2^n-1) you can find the correponding digital output for the analog input. No need to worry about your input. Because it is with in 0-5V only...
