hi professors
i have an assignment for creating a circuit to transmit voice via a building electrical wiring i have a diagram which you can see it in attachment your help would be much much appreciated.
thanks in advance for your help.

The coupling capacitor from the live to the transformer must be of very high working voltage, say 47nF @2 KV. Your power amp needs to have some ALC on it and over current protection as the mains cabling looks like a big capacitor - try a series L to tune it out?

i want the circuit schematic i mean how the ic's and microphone and amplifier attach eachother and i don't know which ic i should use for limiter and power amplifier and i want to khow the quantity of capacitors and resistors which attach to the ic's pins any one can help me?

the complications faced are numerous since the household cables are not perfect they have higher reactance loss try reducing it suitably

also the frequency matching ckt are to be perfectly designed to have maximum gain of voice in the other end

Hi, all.
If you want to transmitt voice through power wires of the building, you should couple your speech to the house wiring. you cannot couple using a power amplifier or limiter or anysuch thing,if your voice quality is to be good and reliable. use LM566 type tone generator and use it to FM modulate the voice, and couple to house wiring. On the other side, use tone decoder like 567 and decode the same tone , amplify with simple IC like 386 audio amplifier. you can modulate voice using different frequencies and frequency multiplex and make it use like an intercom. If you are from India refer to excellent book called Build your own Intercoms by BPB publishers. it gives complete schematics and explanation of its working.
