hi all,

I want to design a circuitry to control the voltage.Basically it requires a switch kind of circuit to do so. Following are the specifications :

if input vltg is less than or equal to 40v then output vltg = input vltg
if input vltg is greaterthan 40v then output vltg = 0V

To satisfy the above conditions I need a switch kind of thing. Please suggest some designs for switch

Thanks,

Hi,
Use a comparator driven relay, which is switched off when voltage is above 40V. Hope the relay off time delay is OK for your application?
