I need to make a presentation for scholars why to study electronic and vlsi. please, maybe some body know interesting videos from the last years that shows something interesting about electronics(like "from sand to silicon")

There is a great video called Podfather, it is a BBC program if you can find a copy.
It will either greatly interest the scholars, or put them to sleep ; )
