video surveillance system with 2 days of backup

Hi all,
I want to design video surveillance system with around 20 nos of CCTV cameras and want a video backup of about 2 days.can anyone help me out with the kind of hardware that i would require(i.e. storage space,type of CCTV,user interface etc.)
Any kind of suggestion is welcomed
 

The hardware is simple

Use a computer with portable harddisk

Now hard disk are available for this application

can you suggest me any documents about how to interface multiple CCTV with PC.
it would be great help.
 

how about DVR card ?
has anybody used it,is it a good option?
