VGA display with XUPV2P board - hello world program needed

VGA with XUPV2P

Hi Gurus,

I am stuck with my course project. I am trying to display FIR output to monitor using XUPV2P board.

But, the problem is- I dont have "hello world" type reference to display anything on monitor using the board. there are few resources on the internet for Spartan3 board. But, there I could see a traditional spartan3 board's RGB port has 3 ouput pins, whereas XUPV2P board's SVGA RGB has 24 pins.

I just want to display complete red/green screen as a starter. please help.



Additional note- XUPV2P board's self test golden configuration displays vga output and ps2 interface nicely. Is it possible to get those vhdl codes?

Most of them use VGA.
