Hi guys. Ive been doing microstrip design using ADS and I noticed the differences in the s parameter graphs when varying the number of MLIN components used. I was just wondering whats the physical meaning of using multiple MLIN components for example say 3 MLIN components instead of just 1?is it basically just adding more length to the microstrip?
Thanks in advance.

You can easily create a longer line by changing the length parameter, no need to cascade MLIN directly. Multiple instances of MLIN are used for different lines in the circuit, separated by components or by other microstrip model elements like MBEND, MTEE etc.
