Hi All,
I'm wondering, whether PIC (Photonic Integrated Circuit) can be used almost as MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits). For example, I want to design passive power distribution system which is operating in the GHz frequencies (let we say - up to 50 GHz). Could I use PIC technique to design such system composed from passive components (like microwave couplers) and then use it with mm waves ?
In attachment I'm sending example of typical coupled structure designed in MMIC technique.
Regards,
E.
