At my work they have all these SMT components , resistors, caps, transistors etc.
they all come in these film reel to reel rolls.

What do u guys use instead of using these reel to reel rolls? because they take up to much room

Do they have special multiple trays to put SMT components?

I used empty film containers in numbered holes in a tray labelled for SMT proto assy work in the 90's.
We stocked all the reels on 3/4 metal pipe or similar with labels for inventory count or easy index locate on in stockroom and easy cut tape removal.
