transmit antenna selection

Hello,
Suppose that we have a transmitter with multiple transmit antennas, and a receiver with multiple receive antennas, i.e.: MIMO system. We want to select a transmit antenna given that the SNR of this antenna to all receive antennas above a certain thresold and not necessarly has the largest value, i.e.: random selection. What is CDF and PDF of such selection?

you should have the CSI and I think it depends on the distribution of the eigenvalues of channel matrix.
