Hi Guys,

Can someone teach me what parameters are there to consider when looking for a transformer?

Thanks!!

Hi

It depends what kind of transformer you are talking about

The main important parameters are:
frequency range (Hz)
transformation ratio x:y
power (VA)
leakage inductance (uH)

What is frequency range of transformer?

that depends
the line frequency is 50Hz in india and 60Hz in in some country
for smps and all the frequency will be high
