Transformer Cores for High Frequency High Voltage application

Dear All,

I need to make a transformer with input pulse of 600V and output should be around 6.5kV. The average power to be handled by each core is around 1kW.
The pulse duration is typically 4-6us.
Can Nanocrystalline cores or Amorphous metal cores be applicable for this purpose. What are the other core material suitable for this application.
