Hai

When I trace route to google, It shows following ip paths .Here I have a doubt, when we traceroute a domain name , result will shows its path ip interface. I think these all ip interface will be interface of the router of its path , then how this hostname came from ? Does router interface have hostname also ? Please explain the working of trace route and its resultant ..

Trace complete.

Windows' tracert program automatically resolves IP addresses to host names as well, if possible. So if a router has a name registered to it, then you will see that name. There is no reason why a router cannot have a hostname; it is a networked device with an IP address like any other device.

You can disable name resolution with the -d switch which can allow tracert to run more quickly.
