Toshiba a45 s121 laptop won't continue booting, help!!!!

I have this laptop that everytime I tried to power on, the booting won't proceed. It just display Windows XP and then it shuts down, after a few second it will again try to boot, but again it fails. What might have been the problem? and how to solve this? Pls help, thanks in advance.

It has affected with virus that does this. Press F8 continuously during powering up which will ask you wether to start the safe mode. At the same time you will also have an option " Start with last know good configuration" select this and start the PC. It will boot and as you get the desktop, you will have to scan for viruses with a legal version of any good Antivirus sw. Help you?...dont forget the button at the bottom....Goodluck.
