TLA25XX ADCs

Hi,
I write device drivers for different platforms and not in electrical/electronic field per se.
Anyone familiar with TLA25XX family of ADCs. I read one of the manuals and still needed some clearance on setting input voltage to a pin and reading it back. What are the ways to set and read the analog input pins?. How to set the analog input pins using SPI?.

What exactly is the problem? I mean "SPI" is pretty standard. And usually the datsheet explains the data to be sent very well.

What exactly do you mean with "setting input voltage to a pin"?
and "reading it back"?

please explain your problem in more detail e.g. which ADC you are using, is it TLA2518 from TI ?.
Which MCU you ar using?
How does your code "looks" like?
How is your SPI communication configured with respect to clock- and phase-polarity?
