Hi there,

After a long time pulling my hair off I discovered this one.

Not sure if this is an Altium bug or older version incompatibility but using Altium libraries sometimes the 3D body is not rendered correctly or not at all.
I was able to display the 3D if it was imported from an STEP file, but for the 3D bodies from the libraries I guess maybe done in older versions (squares in most of the time) were missing.

Solution: go to the library double click on the body and in the upper right corner there is a button Convert to Step. press it, save the lib, update the component and in the 3D view the body is rendered correctly.

Interesting tip, thanks for sharing!
