understanding iq signals

Hi, all

Currently I have one question regarding of digital I/Q and Analog I/Q signal. As we know, the analog I/Q traces connect from baseband IC to transceiver IC for providing modulation signals. And the layout should be keeping a complete ground area for I/Q trace.

My question is what is difference between digial I/Q and Analog I/Q. And how to layout the dignal I/Q signal and its theorem.

Thank you.
