Hi guys,

I'm trying to set some cell from the link libraries I specified, as driving cells of an input port. However when i try to do this, I get this warning:

design_analyzer> set_driving_cell -library MTC35100 -lib_cell IBUF "clk"
Performing set_driving_cell on port 'clk'.
Error: 'MTC35100' doesn't specify a unique library
Please use complete specification: full_file_name:library_name (UID-15)
Error: 'UTM_MTC35000' doesn't specify a unique library
Please use complete specification: full_file_name:library_name (UID-15)
Error: 'MTC35100' doesn't specify a unique library

Error: 'UTM_MTC35000' doesn't specify a unique library
Please use complete specification: full_file_name:library_name (UID-15)
Error: Cannot find the specified driving cell in memory. (UID-993)

The UTM_MTC35000 library is the target library and the MTC35100 is the link library. The target lib was also specified as a link library. The problem seems to be that the link libraries are not loaded to memory. But the setup of DC shows that the libraries have been setup appropriately.

Does anybody have an idea on what exactly the error means...?

Thanks guys.

same library MTC35100 was defined in two different .db , do list library in DC, you will tell.

do "list - lib" and put * in link library and check for lib name in .lib file.
