Synonyms of low-to-high voltage converter

Hi,
Can anybody tell me that charge-pump, step-up converter, DC-DC converter, and Boost converter are same?
If these are different then please make me clear.

Hi,
Step up and Boost converter are same.

Switched Capacitor techniques are also called charge pump techniques which can be used to design Step up or Step down(Buck) converter.

DC/DC converter can be used both for Step Up or Down.

step up converter and boost converter are the synonyms of each pther.DC-DC converter is any converter thats convert a DC voltage to another DC voltage though it can be higher( Step up or boost) or less( step down)
