switching problem in smps using TEA1523..

m designing a buck converter using TEA1523...with 340 V from rectified mains on drain pin n 100kHz freq. but i m not getting oscillations on the RC pin of the IC..... can nybody help............or if nybody can tell me wht is valley switching................
