I apologize for i might have posted this in the wrong forum, but i cant view the SCIENCE forum.

Anyone among you guys who can prove the linearity of this equation through superposition? Share knowledge please.

y(n) = x(n) - 1/2 [y(n-1)]
where x(n) = cos (2*pi*f*n)
n = 1 to 200
f = 1/100 to 0.5

Thanks.
