A 1/4 VGA display is an LCD. Hooked up to a embedded PC which runs Embedded XP, it can display unicode.
A bit more specific:
- graphic or character ?
- ballpark cost ?
It could be difficult to find a small character LCD that supports unicode by itself. I could be painting a dark picture, but the character LCD units are built around LCD controller chips (e.g. KS0066) and these chips have a small amount of storage for characters.
