steps to verify SPI in slave mode

Could anybody tell the steps to verify SPI in slave mode? What are the checks are required for proper verification?
 

It depends of the complexity of the implemented slave and what options you want it to support...
While the actual functionality of SPI is simple - it has A LOT of operation modes.
Did you read the datasheet (motorola/freescale)?
