list of standard resistor values

Hello
I want to build a program that calculates resistor values.

1. Where can i find all the standard resistor values?
2. If i know the resistor value how can i calculate the colors of the resistor?
Not just using the color codes but finding the right color values for resistors that exist on market.
3 What are all this E24,E6 etc specification and where can i find more info.

Thanks in advance

russian resistor value standard

Here is a program that lists the 1% and the 0.1% values and does calculations with them. **broken link removed** is a list of values and colors for all of the Exx series.

standard resistor value in market

Thanks for the reply
If i have an 499 Ohm resistor who can i calculate the colors for 5band resistor

resistor values standard root 2

This is a standard 1% value and usually has the numbers printed instead of the colors. I would expect the following for colors

4 Yellow
9 White
9 White
X1 Black
1% Brown

giving Yellow White White Black Brown as the color sequence.

list of standard resistor value

Term Exx,
Where xx is the quantity of values on a decade.
If you see in the link posted above, there are six values corresponding to E6 resistors.

About the Exx
The number xx is the number of the values for decade. 1 to 10 or 10 to 100.....
the ratio between any neighbors is constant and it the xx root of 10
E6 the 6 root of 10 is 1.46678 and the resistors are 10, 15 the neerest integer of (10*1.46678), 22 the neerest integer of (10*1.46678^2) and so on.
E12 12 root of 10 is 1.211528 ......
