SPICE assertions

Hi Everyone,
I'm planning to run SPICE transient analysis. I want to print out a message saying voltage at node x has crossed y mV if and when it does during the period of simulation. What is the best way to achieve this?

Is it possible to make decisions run time - let's say if the voltage exceeded certain mv then stop current iteration and start a new iteration with different i/p conditions.

I'm going to use HSPICE.

Thanks
VSG
