Source of laptop battery datasheet

1-Do battery manufacturers give datasheet for each battery?
2-Is there any laptop battery datasheet?
(I need information like charge\discharge curves, proper charging method,… about any kind of Li-ion or Li-poly batteries. I didn't find any information in details in Sony or Apple websites...)
