Hey,

I have a problem with a switch. I have 2 open circuited ends of a circuit which I need to connect by using some sort of a digital system. I need to connect those 2 ends by giving a signal from a PIC.

There cannot be any additional voltage or current through the contacts when switching.
I've attached an image of a brief example of what i need...

Hope any1 can help.
TIA

Use photo-coupler/ optocoupler like a ET110 3. But I am not clear what you're trying to accomplish. If want to signal to signal transfer try that method. If you want one signal on and off the circuit, use J-k flip flops. If you have the necessary circuitry, I provide you more in depth help.
