how to get the sampling rate of the ADC from datasheet???

What is SPS??is it same as sampling rate?

what is throughput???

Hi,

how to get the sampling rate of the ADC from datasheet???

What is SPS??is it same as sampling rate?

what is throughput???

Sampling rate, is the amount of samples that you must take in order to obtain back your original signal, and it is calculated according the sampling theorem of Nyquist:

You must know the maximum frequency of your signal and at least the sampling frecuency must be 4 times the more times the better, usually 8 times is great.

For datasheets you can get the clock range 50 to 800kHz

SPS?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Do You mean PSS or Power supply sensitivity, and refers of how affects the changes in power supply to the conversion.

Throughput Rate is the maximum continuous conversion rate of the ADC

Hello,

did you perhaps mean SSP - SYNCHRONOUS SERIAL PORT?
Regards,
Robert

ahcheong,

SPS = Samples Per Second.
ADC has a sampling frequency to sample the analog input, which defined the sampling rate in terms of samples as second.

Throughput = Number of Bits (Out) / Number of Bits (In).
The maximum throughput is 1.

as in flash ADC the sampling speed=convert speed.
but in pipeline or sar ADC,it depend on your lantecy cycles.

Hi there,

How to simulate the throughput parameter?

Thanks,
