This construction was designed for everyone who want to create a useful soldering station which is both cheap and of good quality.

The most important feature of this station is that it consists of three sections:
  • soldering iron driver
  • desoldering driver
  • hot air driver

The desoldering part has its own compressor (such as in factory stations from Ayoue), and the hot air part has its own turbine (the idea was inspired by similar design found on the Internet and modified a little). Housing for the turbine was made of aluminum bottle. A motor of car vacuum cleaner was placed inside it. The motor is controlled by PWM.

Temperature displays were made of ICL7107 – measurements are stable when the chip is shielded.

The underpressure indicator of the compressor was made of underpressure sensor removed from an old car computer.

Panel was made of 5mm thick aluminum plate veneered with silver self-adhesive foil. Panel model on transparent self-adhesive foil printed on a laser printer was glued on that and the whole was covered with clear acrylic lacquer spray.

Lid of the housing is a polished aluminum plate also covered with a thin layer of acrylic.
