solar powered 10 to 20 vdc to reg 12vdc converter

Hi group,

I need to run an IOmega IConnect in my solar powered NOC. It requires 12 vdc. My batteries have a range of 10.5 (dead) to 14vdc.

Any ideas??

Basic idea is to connect your solar panel output (~18V DC) to a charge controller for your 12V SLA battery. Your Iconnect would be connected accross the battery. Search EDAboard for "12v 7ah (ups battery charger)" and refer to the circuit diagram in post #3.
 

I found the right power supply on Ebay, they are called Boost and/or Buck converters.
