In reference to the follwoing mentioned paper:

[ SCADA/HMI Systems in Advanced Educational Courses by F. Adamo, F. Attivissimo, G. Cavone and N. Giaquinto;

Published in IMTC2005–Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference Ottawa, Canada, 17-19May2005. ]

I've been trying to learn PLC,SCADA/HMI concepts using software simulated industrial plant.

The above mentioned paper says we need NI Labview, NI DSC ToolSet, RSLogix 5/500 Ladder Logic Design Utility and RS Logix 5/500 Emulate to simulate whole industrial plant.

I have NI Labview 8.5 and NI DSC Toolset (to design SCADA/HMI and for OPC communications). But I couldn't find above mentioned RS Logix softwares (to design PLC Ladder Logic and emulate a PLC with that software on PC).

Could anybody please help me get those softwares or their alternatives if possible ?

Can I simulate whole Industrial Plant (Including SCADA/HMI portion and PLC Hardware and software) in NI Labview 8.5 ?

Thanks in advance,
Agnivesh
