Software control Camera

For my project, i have to take picture. But most of the camera is controlled by mechanical switch. Its means to take picture you have to press a switch.
But i need such a camera in which picture is taken after sending a command from computer or micro-controller.
Is there any camera available having the option described previously?

Hi,

yes you can use CMUCam or AVRCam. All these module can be controlled using PC or Microcontroller
