spread spectrum snr

HI folks
i am trying to relate SNR (C/N) with Es/No

while browsing on the web, i came across this formula for spread spectrum

SNR= Es/No + (1/spread_rate) [db] + (1/sampling_time) [db]

Now any one knows how this formula has been dervived. I am particularly interested in (1/ spread_rate) part. Rest i know is the geenral formula of SNR for M-ary systems

b/w i found the above formula in the following demo

any help will be appreciated

actually its the other way around,
1/spread_rate is understandable because of spectrum efficiency,
now i am wondering about why to use (1/samplesper chip ) or
(Tpersymbol/Tper sample) in equation

any clues?
