SMTP mail not working

Hello all,

I tried to send E-mail, when i send the email it shows an error message is can’t send the email, do not know why this happens i searched this issue on the Internet and in Youtube and many of the list are there, i am very confused, Please help me how i resolve this issue and Please help me to understand how the SMTP Server work.

You didn't show what you are trying to do.

I guess the only way to send plain SMTP is setting up a server on your computer, no server on the internet allows SMTP without authorisation.

thanks for the reply, the problem was on the outgoing mail server, I changed this to smtp.gmail.com and then this works fine for me. and I also found this post on Internet, which is really helping me to understand the smtp. now my problem is solved now.

What is the mail provider you use? Do you have the problem on one computer or on all computers?
