Hi, I am designing a slotline structure in HFSS. For the waveport I followed the guidelines given in the tutorial, where port width should be greater than 3 times the gap and height should be greater than 4 times the dielectric height.

I was wondering what will be distribution of port field look like for slotline?

Hello , I don't know your question clearly

For the ungrounded CPW, the port field looks like as shown in the image.
(The E fields will be from each ground to the the trace).

How would the E fields for the slotline look like?

Never Mind, I figured out how it should look like.
