Hello all.
Just bought a laptop; has a SIM slot. I suppose is for a telephony service provider. What is the use ? Is it for wireless WAN ? -What is that ?
Is it for using the laptop also as a telephone ? Plugging a headset/handset to the mic/ear jack doubles as a telephone handset ?
Is it for wireless internet service providers ? Is it for 'hot spots' ? -whatever a hotspot is-
First time seen such... educate me, please.
