any example ?

With high order modulator , i will need to use lots of multiplier and it will make the gate count become huge . How to reduce it ?

How will you use the multiplier? I thought sigma-delta modulator only need some adder( for integrator) , comparator and some analog component? Correct me if i'm wrong.

regards

You will need to use multiplier to mutiply the input with coefficients !

Hi Ansunamu

Your are talking about decimation filter after the Signa Delter Modulator right? All before this filter is analog so no digital electronics there.

Well for the decimation filter you have to read some filter design books ...
It can not be explaind with small words.

Best Regards
dora

sorry for misleading !

I am talking about the sigma-delta modulation used in DAC and the modulator will be pure digital .

I know the modulator used in the ADC will be analog

please read the document for reference.
it come from xilinx web.
